the Metairie suburbs, the original Vincent’s is easy to get to and is comfortably
inviting. Scents of roasted garlic, fresh basil and delicious
dark roux will greet you like an old friend when you walk
through the Italian red front doors. You will also be met
with a gracious “hello” and a smile…just
another prelude to a wonderful dining experience. The linen
tablecloths and soft lighting belie the casual, friendly
tone set by Vincent and his staff. Vincent’s in Metairie
is an ideal venue for a romantic dinner for two, catching
up with friends, small family get-togethers or big celebrations.
The staff here considers one another
family, and you’re
likely to feel like part of the family before dessert is
served. Vincent is at the restaurant every evening and is
likely to share a joke or funny anecdote with you should
you engage him in conversation.
Begin your dinner with one of our
appetizers like perfectly golden fried eggplant sticks
with house red sauce or the crispy oysters almondine with
roasted almonds, lemon cream and a hint of fresh tarragon.
Don’t miss our popular
corn and crab bisque in a toasted bread cup, a longtime favorite, matched in flavor only by the delicious specials created by chefs Brian Gremillion and Norman
Williamson.
Every entrée includes our cool, crisp house salad
with your choice of homemade dressings. The house vinaigrette
is filled with herbs, garlic and the pleasant sweet/tart
flavor of balsamic vinegar – the addition of savory
bleu cheese crumbles makes our tremendously popular bleu
cheese vinaigrette. Creamy Italian, spicy Honey Mustard or
Thousand Island are also available.
A cornucopia of entrée selections provides something
exquisite for everyone’s taste. From traditional lasagna
and classic parmigiana dishes to unbelievably fresh fish
and spicy grilled duck – you are destined to find a
new favorite with each visit to Vincent’s. Local favorites
include the Bracialoni (stuffed red veal braised with red
sauce like Vincent’s Mama used to make), Parmesan Crusted
Chicken (pan sautéed to a golden brown, served over
creamed spinach and topped with rich beurre blanc) and our
Sautéed Fresh Fish (a seasonal filet) topped with
lump crabmeat in a rich cream sauce.
BANQUET FACILITIES
In addition to the two main dining rooms, there are two newly
renovated private dining rooms that each hold 25 to 50
guests for all types of events. The double doors adjoining
the two rooms may be opened for cocktail parties or receptions
for up to 100 guests. The elegant dining rooms feature
graceful chandeliers for soft lighting, ceramic tile floors,
tasteful artwork and cloth draped tables. Host your business

Lunch is served Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 to 2:00.
Dinner is Monday through Thursday 5:00 – 9:00, Friday

We will open on a Sunday
for private parties of 50 or more. Reservations are accepted,
as are all major credit cards.
